General description:
Books are hardbound, collector's editions, 9 x 12 coffee table size. Covers are gold stamped or embossed, with a durable Linen or Kivar material. Each book is printed on acid free paper, and contains either a surname or everyname index for easy reference. Family stories, genealogies and pictures highlight each County Heritage Book. Also included are topics such as military history, towns, communities, churches, clubs and organizations. The books range from 200 to 400 pages, and were compiled under the sponsorship of a local committee, which was responsible for content and scope.
